What’s an Easter party without a Egg Hunt? Putting on the best Easter Egg Hunt shouldn’t have to be taxing. Once you have invited the children (or adults) to your Easter party you will need to decide if your party is indoors or outdoors.

If you are hiding your prizes outside and kids are involved be sure to never place prizes in tree trunks or holes, or near poisonous plants. If you are hiding your prizes indoors avoid hiding them near electrical outlets, and protect your valuables by thinking if children will be able to knock over your prized crystal. Whatever you do, think about the safety of the children and adults attending.

1. Make a list of all the hiding places – may sound simple but a lot of people find prizes they missed (3 months later) when they didn’t write down the places they hid the spoils.
2. Think about small children – Don’t hide prizes in high places, unless you plan to have an age related hunt you may want to keep low to the ground where the prizes can be found. Always set the scene for young children and let them know where in the garden they can find the prizes.
3.  Have some extra special prizes – with Poundland’s egg hunt set you are given special numbers which you can hide, instruct the children to collect numbers 1 to 4 in return for special prizes once they return the numbers back. Alternatively write on a “token” this prize is good for “prize of your choice”.
4. Mix it up – You don’t have to just include sweets and chocolate in your hunt, why not fill eggs with small toys and age appropriate prizes so that the children go back with lots of treasures.
