For more idea’s then i have found an AMAZING site, Dayoutwiththekids.co.uk! You simply enter the region where you live, choose whether you want to do an outdoor or indoor activity and lastly enter the age range of your children and bingo – a whole list comes up of all the activities in your area that would be suitable for your children. Simple or what!

Swine flu is becoming a major concern, particular after it was reported yesterday that a 6 year old girl, died from the virus – a parents worse nightmare.

According to an article from The Independent, we are better prepared than previous pandemics as we have anti-viral drugs and a vaccine on the way.

However, there are steps that we can all take to help prevent a spread.

• Catch your coughs and sneezes in a tissue and bin it straight away to kill the germs
• Wash your hands regularly
• Ensure that surfaces and door handles are kept clean
