Products in the Amazing Value range are flying off the shelves as they are big brands at an incredible £1 price! As of today Poundland stores have included new products into the campaign with top products like Nivea, Coca Cola (3 for £1) and Vanish for just £1. Personally i think the Coca Cola glasses are great and are a good price at only £1.

Poundland also stock many more products that are priced much lower than the RRP price. A few examples is a pack of 90 Kleenex Tissues where the RRP is £2 or some Dettol Floor Cleaner with a RRP of £2.20 and both can be picked up for just £1 each! Check out our website for some more products.

Here at Poundland we are opening 3 new stores on the 8^th October in Elgin, Bedminster and Castlecourt (Belfast). If you live in these areas make sure you pop in on Saturday 10^th October for a family fun day! Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly (Becky Granger) will be opening the Bedminster store and other Corrie stars will be opening Elgin and Castlecourt. The fun days will include Poundland voucher giveaways , free batteries, DJ and entertainer and a chance to gain autographs from the Corrie stars.

Have you heard about the launch of NearLondon, a new 3D retail shopping experience of the main shopping hubs in London. It sounds amazing – Oxford, Regent and Bond streets, as well as Leicester Square and some of the back streets of the West End, will be simulated in 3D online. We will actually be able to virtually wander down streets, click into stores and browse the items for sale. And if you are a fan of seeing the Christmas lights go on, this is also going to be shown on the site. Even though I think you won’t feel the same buzz sat at a computer in your home. However, I do like the idea of shopping around London virtually, the crowds can really get to me…

Poundland is rolling out Weekend Specials across stores which represent amazing value for the customer. Poundland’s Chief Executive Jim McCarthy appeared on BBC 2’s Working Lunch Wednesday. The feature was filmed at the Kings Heath store where interviews with Jim, the store manager and customers took place. The new Poundland stores opening soon in Northern Ireland are creating a buzz amongst the population and for good reason too! Soon Northern Ireland will benefit from the exciting products on offer, the amazing value and the thrilling shopping experience that you get from a Poundland store where every product is just £1 each! Poundland isn’t stopping there either as we have new stores opening across the UK and the newest store is based in Neath, West Glamorgan. The store opens it’s doors on 1^st October and there is a family fun day planned for Saturday 3^rd October including:

• DJ and entertainer there from 9am until 4pm

To go off subject, Poundland have launched a new bagged sweet range – ‘Sweet Heaven’ – which is now available to buy in stores. There are so many nostalgic treats to enjoy including rhubarb and custard chews, sherbet lemons, shrimps, pear drops, bon bons and the nation’s favourite – fizzy cola bottles. These have been flying off the shelves and everyone loves the variety and quality of the sweets. I am such a foodie and one blog that gets my tastebuds flowing is The Beauty and the Feast – I take one look and the blog and just have to go and get some grub. Loving the posts!
