Firstly, I just want to send my condolences to Stephen Gately and his family and friends. What a huge and tragic shock! Stephen was a top entertainer and had many fans across the country and what a shame it is for him to die at such a young age.

I am starting to get excited about getting the house decorated for Halloween. I am thinking about being a bit creative with pumpkins this year, most year’s I leave them uncarved. However, I came across Walyou.com which has given me HUGE inspiration to carve all sorts of characters – well have a go anyway. They have pumpkins carved into Star Wars characters, Horror movie stars and randomly some geeky faces. I’ll keep you updated with how I get on.

The Daily Mail reported on Christina Aguilera taking her son Max to a Pumpkin fair in America. The USA really do go to town on Halloween, sometimes I think us Brits should make it another holiday each year too. We tend to get a bit ‘scrooge’ about the whole thing.
