51 days until Christmas, I am so excited! I just love this time of year and especially now with the Christmas adverts starting to appear on TV and the shops have started stocking up on Christmas products, I just cannot hide my excitement. The thing that is putting a dampener on Christmas this year though is money and affording presents for friends and family. I always find that I manage to budget for presents and totally forget about budgeting for wrapping them too! However, Poundland yet again is here to the rescue and has fab wrapping ideas including novelty paper, bows, tags gifts bags and tissue paper and all for just £1 each it really will be possible to wrap all presents on a next to nothing budget. The BBC has reported on how to ‘Avoid more debts this Christmas’ which is very helpful. One of their points is budgeting – so why not budget £5 for wrapping your presents and get down to Poundland!

I just have to mention Helen and her revamped Poundland Christmas stocking! Wow Helen you have done a fab job! Make sure you check out Helen’s It’s all a fiddle fart blog as she has done some fab handy work on lots of things – great inspiration too. Helen we at Poundland HQ love your Poundland motto too – buy it now or you will never see it again. It’s because our shoppers cannot believe the amazing value so the stock gets cleared so quickly we have to get more products in to fill the space. It would be great to hear about any other Poundland items you have customized Helen…

Has anyone seen A Christmas Carol yet? Hellomagazine.com has done a report on the premiere – can you believe John & Edward got an invite? I am quite envious that I didn’t manage to get to London to see the lights being switched on though – Jim Carey and Colin Firth were there to highlight the event.

After all this talk of Christmas, I might just have to spend as little time around the shops today and see if I can start purchasing any presents…
