I think the whole country has been affected by the frosty weather these past few days. I had to scrape the ice off my car this morning, luckily i’d already popped to my local Poundland store a couple of weeks ago and picked up some de-icer. Make sure you go to your local store and get all your winter car care, 600ml de-icer, anti-freeze, and Thinsulate ice-scraper – all just £1 each!

One thing I didn’t know was that “Even in winter you should run your air-conditioning for at least an hour a week. This allows the coolant in the system to lubricate all of the moving parts and prevents the build-up of elements which can corrode pipework”…air-conditioning on? Brrr…

You need to keep yourself warm too, at Poundland there is a fantastic range of winter clothing, perfect for these cold days. There are winter hats, soft touch scarfs, we even have ear muffs, I used to love those when I was young! …and don’t forget your mens and ladies thermal socks! £1 each!

Lastly I just had to comment on the ‘slanket’, did anyone see it in the news today? It’s a blanket with sleeves that is ideal for watching the telly – there was some fab stories on this today and it did make me chuckle! Anyone got a slanket on their Christmas list?
