It’s safe to say most people’s pockets are a little tight this year – I’ve heard Santa’s even feeling the pinch! But, the stockings still need filling and I’ve found some great ideas for the kids (and myself!) at Poundland.

In my view, stockings are all about fun and inexpensive gifts that my boys can enjoy playing with on the day. So I was pleased to see plenty of toys and games including yoyos, playing cards and old fashioned wooden toys that I know they will love:

If you’ve got girls there are some lovely gifts such as skipping ropes, princess castle money boxes and fashion accessory making kits – all are bound to keep them entertained for the day:

Oh, and I may have picked up a couple of bits for me to enjoy after all my Christmas shopping and present wrapping is done!
