Half Term is here!
Entertaining the kids can be expensive, so that’s why Poundland is the place to shop for school holidays this year.
We have a great range of toys for any kind of weather that will provide hours of fun – and they are just £1 each!

If you fancy a day out, why not take a trip to Stratford upon Avon, it’s got so much to offer including great shops, great restaurants, loads of history all within beautiful surroundings!
The best part about Stratford upon Avon is that there is a brand new Poundland store opening there on Saturday 30th May. Make sure you visit on the day for a fun filled family event including;
- The Mayor will officially open the store at 9:30am
- Anthony Cotton aka. Sean Tully from Coronations Street will be there from 10:30am – 1pm sign autographs and have pictures taken.
- The 1st 50 customers will receive a free £1 voucher
- There will be a further £50 worth of vouchers up for grabs in our checkout challenge game
- There will be 500 packs of Kodak batteries given away
- Finally, a DJ and Entertainer will be instore from 9am to 4pm!
Also for families that live in Warwickshire, there is a ‘Street Sportz’ event that is taking place throughout half-term and it is completely free for kids between 8 – 13 years. Basically ‘Street Sportz’ offers kid’s the chance to play any sport they can think of. Check out more details here

The clocks go forward this weekend and the nights will be longer and lighter. Finally there’s a promise of summer after the long winter months…
There is nothing better than to get outside in the summer evenings and socialise with friends and family.
For a family day out this weekend Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Kirk (Andy Whyment) will be opening two more Poundland stores, Saturday 28 March. Fiz will be in East Ham and Kirk will be in Barrow in Furness. So if you can make it, drop by! There will be free cava and loads of vouchers to give away, as well as sweets and balloons for the kids.
