Valentines Day has come and gone…however we asked you to vote on your favourite range at Poundland….Racy or Romantic!

    I can now reveal that the winner (receiving nearly double the votes) was the Racy range!

Its Valentines Day tomorrow and yet again I still haven’t brought anything!

If you’re in the same position then here are my quick fix tips for getting things sorted…

1. Make your own card!

Its always nice to add a personal touch, so if you are feeling creative then pop down to your local Poundland for all the arty crafty essentials! Including glue, scissors, card diamond stickers and glitter all for just £1 each!

For a bit of inspiration, take a look at Mandy’s blog, Made by Mandy - she has made her husband’s card this year and it looks fab!

If you are not the creative type though, you can always pick up a boxed card for £1! It’s bound to impress!

1. Create a Romantic Atmosphere

Surprise someone special by decorating your house with balloons and artificial roses! Pick up some single red roses and inflatable heart balloons at your local Poundland for just £1 each!

1. Shower with gifts!

There’s so much to choose from at Poundland with everything from cuddly bears, snow globes, and naughty bedroom sets. Everything is just £1 each, so you can afford to spoil someone!

If you have the cash to splash – take a look at The Guardians article on “Green Valentine’s Day gifts” – I think it’s a great idea and an interesting read. However not sure I have the pennies to splash out on posh champagne and wine…think I might have to stick to Poundland this year…
