Poundland is yet again expanding our store portfolio with Cannock and Trowbridge opening Thursday 22^nd October. Both of these will include a family fun day on Saturday 24^th October and will include the following activities:

Cannock

• £50 worth of Poundland vouchers to be won in checkout challenge
• DJ & entertainer there from 9am – 4pm
• Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly (Becki MacDonald) to officially open the store, sign autographs and have pictures taken from 10.00am – 1.00pm
• 50 x £1 Poundland vouchers to give away
• Loads of freebies to giveaway including 500 packs of Kodak A batteries, 300 packs of Ambi Pur and 300 puzzle games!  

Trowbridge

• £50 worth of Poundland vouchers to be won in checkout challenge

• Coronation Street star Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland) to officially open the store, sign autographs and have pictures taken from 10.00am – 1.00pm
• 50 x £1 Poundland vouchers to give away
• Loads of freebies to giveaway including 500 packs of Kodak A batteries, 300 packs of Ambi Pur and 300 puzzle games!

Poundland would also like to welcome the Worthing and North Finchley stores to the Poundland family. Both opened their doors to the public today and if you live in the area of any of these stores make sure you pop in to grab yourself a bargain as every item on sale is just £1.

I would also like to mention Poundland’s new range of Michael Jackson DVD’s (The Inside Story, A Definitive History and The Ultimate Review) which go on sale across all stores from today. If you are a Michael Jackson fan make sure you pick up a copy for just £1!

Love sweets? Then voice your opinion on what are the best sweets out there! Poundland are due to launch a new bagged sweets range and would like to know which are your favourites. One lucky person will win £25 worth of Poundland vouchers to spend on anything in store (maybe even 25 bags of sweets?). All you have to do is log onto the Poundland website at www.poundland.co.uk and click on the link to vote for your favourite sweets and pick 3 from the list and submit the form! The list consists of Juicy Strawberry Gums, Fizzy Fish, Choc Tops, Hard Rock, Pear Drops, Fizzy Cola Bottles, Milk Chocolate Buttons, Jelly Beans, Midget Gems, Sour Laces and Teeth and Lips. Are you a Big Brother Fan? It looks like Sophie aka Dogface was nearly sick from eating far too many sweets! Ha ha, I love the show and reading The Sun’s ‘Big Brother Rolling News Day’. I think I would go insane if I had to go into the house. It would be great to hear from bloggers that have spotted previous BB contestants in Poundland stores!
